Carpe Diem helps their customers to "seize the day" with their electronic wellness products. They wanted a logo that represented the technology they sold, referenced their name, and resembled an atom-like circle. All three of these things were achieved with this logo. If you look closely, you can even see the form of the "S" and the "D" in their name.
